In the mood to create a quick and easy photo book? I was trying to find something cute and simple to share with you! I am behind on my scrapping as usual and found this cute birdie flip book using Stampin'Up! supplies. It makes a great brag book for your desk at work or make it and cover it with clear contact paper to carry in your purse! There are quite a few holidays coming up so think about some cute and easy gifts now.

Valentine's Sweet Treat Workshop!

It's time for a little love in the air! Whether you are into scrapbooking, framed art, making greeting cards or any type of paper craft, we need to get busy and start creating! My favorite day to be creative is Valentine's Day and it is only a couple weeks away!!!! It is a great time to send a little something special to loved ones, friends, teachers, or just a sweet way to show someone you care. Some many things are going on right now! Family events, school is back in session for me and Austin starts next week. There are great new products and I have some new catalogs to post. A new look for my website is on the way and I am looking forward to a huge scrapbook and papercraft sale in Septemeber. More information will be posted as to the exact day and time. Until then, here is the babyshower card I made for our cousins Tim and Jen, who look forward to their arrival of Reese in September! We also had a couple birthdays over the summer, so I hope you enjoy the all-star card I created! Be back soon!

Good Friend Mini Album

This month I decided to try a mini album using the cutest SU stamp set called, "Good Friend." Here is the cover and the papers behind are a sample of the color palette throughout this little album. Just email me if you would like to see the inside. I made up a couple extra kits if you would like to purchase one for your own pictures. Simply Garden Note Cards

Okay, I already posted a layout I made with the Simply Garden Kit pieces I gave at the May workshop, so now I decided to use the remaining pieces to make 8 note cards. Between the 12x12 layout below and the 8 cards here, all I added to the items I gave in the kits were 2 pieces of 12x12 barely banana card stock and 8 note cards. I still have some left over scraps so I can make additional flowers or add embellishments to my layout when I add the pictures. I hope you like them and I am still waiting to see what some of you who attended the workshop created with your kit. Happy Scrapping!!!

May Workshop Layout Idea

Those who attended the National Scrapbook workshop received a layout kit from the Simply Scrapin' Garden Kit, as well as an idea sheet from Stampin'Up! and a page of sample layouts. This is one of the layouts and I just added a couple of personal touches. I still have plenty of paper and die cuts left to make additional pages or cards. I used Barely Banana paper. The hand doodles were done with Always Artichoke and I stamped the title with the Time Well Spent stamp set. I also stamped on the paper, but it is a little light in the photo. Also, I usually doodle a little more after my pictures are added and our sticky die cuts can be moved around as well. Keep in mind though,glue dots and other adhesives are not as forgiving.

Cute Card for BABY

I was working on a couple layouts for a baby shower card and saw a cute design on Hana Stamps. I thought I would give it a try with some of our stampin'Up! products. I just love this stripped paper and the color family. I hope you like the card too. With this paper the color combinations are endless!! (This was a quick sample so please excuse my lack of perfectionism!!!

National Scrapbook Workshop May 30th

This is a sample of the shadow technique we will be learning on Saturday. You are welcome to choose the greeting. I thought this would be a fun card for the men in our family. This Saturday, May 30th will be my National Scrapbook Workshop to end the month of May. It starts at 4pm to midnight. The cost is $10 per person and we will be making a 12x12 layout with our Simply Scraping Garden Kit and creating a card using the shadow technique. The price also includes a light dinner and dessert. Potluck and Scrap Workshop - April 25 6-11pm

Okay, this month started out busy and is getting busier, but I need to scrap. Come and bring your favorite dish to share and let's scrap. Just send me an email so I know what you are bringing and to make sure I set up enough room. I will have my tools, inks, stamps, etc. to use and my little personal store is open. I also have page kits and card kits for purchase as well. This card basket kit was shared at the last quarterly demonstrators' meeting and I just loved it. I have a couple different paper packs to choose for your layout.

Also, mark May 30th on your calendar for an all day and evening fun event. Details to follow!
